Description
Rolling pin small, 22.5 cm
To make a filigree flower, the mass used must first have the right thickness. With the rolling pin your creations get the right thickness.
Roll out rod - application
Take the mass of your choice and knead it a little according to the instructions on the package. Use a modeling or sugar mass, dust the base with a little baker's starch to prevent sticking. Now take the rolling pin in hand. You can use the rings on the sides of the stick to determine the thickness of your mixture. This way you don't need any rolling out sticks. For thin petals use the thinner ring, if you want to make a border with an embossing, for example, the thicker ring is better suited.
Loosen the rolled out mass from time to time from the substrate that it certainly does not stick, Once you have reached the desired thickness, you can cut out the shape of your choice. Your decorations will be especially noble if you get details with an embosser or modeling tools. Fine leaf veins, a gossamer petal edge, a gentle curve or a small pattern, there are no limits to your imagination.
Try the rod yourself and experiment with different masses and thicknesses. So you will find your favorite decoration and create many different decorations for your creations.
The rolling pin is perfect for rolling out fondant, flower paste, marzipan or modeling chocolate. It is small, handy and perfect for making filigree flowers and leaves. For ideal use, use a silicone mat as a base and powder with a little baker's starch. Then the desired sugar mass such as: Fondant, marzipan, flower paste, modeling chocolate or even cookie dough on the silicone mat and roll out with the help of the rolling pin. To do this, also powder the surface of the sugar paste with a little baker's starch.
For an even more uniform roll-out result, you can use the rings included in the set. The rings are available in two different thicknesses (1.5 mm or 3 mm).
The rolling pin can be easily washed by hand or put in the dishwasher after use.
