Food grade grease for dough machines

A machine that is used often must also be well maintained. This is particularly important for high-performance machines, such as kitchen or dough kneading machines. To ensure long-lasting and gentle use, chains and plain bearings should be regreased a little every now and then. This grease is food-safe, resistant to aging and oxidation and lasts a particularly long time, so you do not have to constantly re-grease.

Food grade grease for dough machines - application

The food-safe grease can be used for a wide range of equipment. We use it mainly for our dough kneading machines, especially the Alpha 2G dough kneading machine. Of course, you can use the adhesive grease for all equipment parts that do not come into direct contact with food. Below you will find the instructions for the treatment of the Alpha 2G.

Remove the dough hook in advance, as well as the bowl. Every four weeks, the driver on the head of the machine should be greased, for this purpose always use only the food grade grease. To do this, fold up the head of the dough machine. Now you will see a piece of metal and a corresponding hole in the body of the machine. Grease this generously with a brush.

Use a small screwdriver to loosen all the small screws of the lid. Remove it and you will see the drive chain of the dough hook. You can apply the grease with a small brush. You should do this after every 50 hours of operation or after two years.

Together with the chain of the dough hook, the chain for the dough bowl should also be maintained. To do this, carefully lay the machine on its side and unscrew the base. Once the cover is removed, you can again grease the drive chain with a small brush and then screw the cover back on.
