Dish cover for Alpha 2G
This Alpha 2G dough machine ensures perfect doughs of all kinds - as if from the bakery itself. With this cover you can optimally close the dough bowl. The stick proofing can thus be completed right in the bowl. You can also let a scalded piece of dough or a sourdough rest covered overnight.
Dish cover for Alpha 2G - Application
The Alpha 2G is a stable and durable kneading machine of professional quality, which nevertheless fits perfectly into the kitchen of hobby bakers and private households. Of course, the machine also comes with detailed instructions, from which you can learn not only the application but also tips regarding the kneading times of different doughs.
The night before you want to bake the bread, add the ingredients for your sourdough or for a scalded bread to the dough bowl and mix it all together with the mixing paddle. Then close the bowl with the bowl cover and let it sit overnight. The lid will prevent the dough from drying out, but will allow enough air in so that the dough can rise and ferment nicely. The next day, add the remaining ingredients. With a twist to the left, insert the bowl into the machine. Then attach the dough hook to the head of the machine. Now gently push it down and slide the hook all the way in. Finally, fold down the spray cover, otherwise the machine cannot be turned on. This is also a safety feature, because it prevents hair, clothes or even your hand from getting into the kneading machine.
Now you can start the machine in first gear or set a time. With the help of the instructions, find the perfect kneading time for your dough. Then press the time button and set the desired number of minutes. If the dough seems ready or the time is up, you can set a new time and switch to the second speed. This will finish kneading the dough until it passes the window test.
Switch off the machine, fold up the splash guard and the machine head and clean the dough hook if necessary. Then place the lid on the dough bowl again and let your bread dough rest to proof. The bowl cover and the stainless steel bowl are dishwasher safe and can be easily cleaned.
