Ruffles Cookie cutter

Creating the perfect cake border can be hard, but with this set it's no longer a problem. You love to decorate your pastry pretty? For a noble yet simple edge decoration of your cake, our cake edge cookie cutters are the right tool. This cookie cutter is particularly suitable to decorate cakes, cupcakes or cakes with charming homemade ruffles, small flowers or curtains.

Add a personal touch to your cake with elegant decorations around the edge of the cake made of fondant, Massa Ticino or marzipan. This cookie cutter is ideally used for cutting out sweet decorations from thin flower paste or marzipan. In addition, you can trace the decorations with food coloring or egg white icing. To make ruffles can additionally use our From & Structure modeling stick. In this way, you are guaranteed to create a magical motif cake that not only looks good enough to eat, but also tastes just as fabulous.

Ruffle cookie cutter - Application

Choose a flower paste, marzipan or fondant in the desired color. Now roll out a long piece of the mass nice and thin. Now you can cut out the shape as with a cookie dough. If the edge does not turn out quite nice, you can help with a serrated knife.

Put the prepared circles aside, but they should not dry too long, otherwise they may become unyielding. To create a beautiful three-dimensional effect is best to use a modeling tool. Depending on the use, cut the ring open. With a little food glue, for example, a ruffle along the edge is very easy to attach.

They are suitable as decorations for edges of cakes, edges of cakeboards or even decorations on the cake or a cupcake. Several ruffles on top of each other with some folded circles in the middle can serve as a flower. With a support, for example a hemisphere of sponge cake, the ruffles can be slightly overlapped facing down. This creates an elegant dress.

With a little food coloring in liquid or powder form, you can create shades, patterns and gradients. Glitter also looks very elegant on the ruffles.

Embellish your cakes, pies and cupcakes this way, create elegant borders and sweet flowers!

To use the cutter correctly, first roll out the sugar mass, rolled fondant, marzipan or flower paste thinly. A silicone mat or baker's starch is suitable as a base to prevent the mass from sticking to the work surface. Then press the cutter on the mass and apply light pressure, as when cutting out cookies. To make the ruffles beautiful and three-dimensional, you can use modeling tools. Cut the round ribbon to be attached to the edge of the cake covered with rolled fondant as a typical ruffle and curtain pattern. Ready is a pretty and elegant decoration.
