With the flower modeling plate you can give flowers and leaves a real look by thinning out the ends of each leaf with the help of a ball modeling tool. Place the cut-out sugar mixture on a foam flower modeling plate and briefly press the ball modeling tool into baker's starch. Run the Ball modeling tool along the edge of the cut-out sugar mass. If possible, only work the outermost part with the modeling tool, so that the rose petals become beautifully filigree.

Description

Modeling plates 2 pieces

A modeling plate provides the perfect base for shaping and modeling various masses. The foam yields to such an extent that even thin rolled-out masses do not tear when you work on them.

The foam modeling sheets are perfect for working with fondant, flower paste, marzipan, modeling chocolate and Massa Ticino, but can also be used as a base for working with salt dough, modeling clay, wax, ceramics or clay.

Flowers modeling plate - application

Take the mass of your choice to hand and knead the mass on the package a little. now roll out the mass on a little baker's starch. Loosen the rolled out mass from time to time from the base, that it certainly does not stick, If you have reached the desired thickness, you can cut out the shape of your choice.

Now place this shape on the modeling plate. For a fine, gently curved petal, use a modeling tool with a round head. With light pressure and circular movements, thin out the edge and slightly curve the petal in the middle. The modeling plate prevents the mass from tearing.

You can create a goblet-shaped flower by forming a small ball and placing a drop-shaped leaf around it, also thinned out at the edge. You can place the long flower in one of the holes, for example, to add some details with colors at your leisure.

Powder colors can be brushed in the center around the pistil. This is how you achieve the typical look of pollen dust. The edges can also be painted for a darker edge.

With a modeling plate you have an optimal base for all your creations from sugar masses. The foam is just pliable enough that gentle curvatures, but no cracks arise. The holes in one plate facilitate the creation of 3D flowers and are also suitable as a holder for flower nails. Create delicate flowers and cute figures on the modeling plates!
