Dry yeast 6 x 11 g
Dry yeast has a much longer shelf life than fresh yeast and is thus also suitable for spontaneous baking projects. Therefore, there should always be a few sachets of yeast powder in the kitchen to guarantee the implementation of all your baking projects. With 11 g of the powder you can replace a 42 g cube of fresh yeast without mixing or preparation.
Dry yeast - application
Burger Buns
525 ml milk
3 egg yolk
3 tsp salt
3 tbsp sugar
90 ml vegetable oil
1 packet dry yeast
960 g white flour
Milk and sesame
Allow all the ingredients to come to room temperature. Then mix the milk with the egg yolk, sugar and oil. Then mix the flour with the dry yeast and slowly knead it in. Then add the salt and knead the dough for about 5 minutes. Cover the dough and let it rest for about 15 to 30 minutes. Then shape into 12 equal-sized buns, flatten them a bit, brush them with a little milk, and let them rest on a burger bun baking sheet or on parchment paper for another hour. Before baking, brush them again with some milk, you can also sprinkle some sesame seeds if needed. So they are baked at 190 °C top and bottom heat, you will get especially great results if you use a burger bun baking tray or a bread baking stone. After 12 to 15 minutes, you can remove the burger buns from the oven, let them cool slightly and then fill them while they are still warm with everything that goes into a delicious burger.
Dry yeast is suitable for all your baking projects, sweet as well as salty doughs rise wonderfully with it. With a small bag of dry yeast in the kitchen, you can always bake to your heart's content and enjoy.
