The higher the better...at least that's true for cakes. You want to make a cake that should attract everyone's attention? Then the cake must have at least two tiers so that everyone can see the jewel on the dessert buffet. To make sure you succeed, you should use cake pins to support your tier cake in the best possible way. The pins are 30 cm long and have a diameter of 6 mm.

Cake sticks made of bamboo

This will ensure that your artwork does not collapse and will look beautiful for a long time.

Environmentally friendly material

The cake sticks are made of bamboo and can come into contact with food without any problems. Bamboo is resistant, durable and does not warp, even if you make, for example, a creamy cake. Bamboo does not soften and keeps its shape for a long time. Furthermore, bamboo has an antibacterial and germ-reducing effect due to its natural ingredients. Bamboo is sealed with a natural layer and does not splinter as soon as it comes into contact with moist food.

Cake sticks Application

The sticks can be easily shortened with scissors. To do this, insert the sticks completely into the cake until the sticks touch the cake base. Now mark the sticks on the cake surface of the first layer and cut them off at this point with the scissors. The sticks should now be as high as the first layer. Depending on the diameter and weight of the cake, you will need no more than 3-4 cake sticks to get a stable cake. When the sticks are in the bottom layer, you can now take a thin cake base and place it in the middle of the cake. If you do without this cake base, it could happen that the top cake crushes the bottom cake and the top layer just spikes itself onto the pins. This base should be about 1cm less in diameter than the cake you want to stack on top of it. This will prevent you from seeing the unsightly bottom of the support. Now place the next tier in the middle of the bottom cake, on top of the cake base.
No matter how many tiers your cake has, put a cake layer between each tier and new pins on each layer. Try not to put the pins over two tiers, otherwise your cake could collapse.
