Cake ring Ø 26 cm x 5 cm
Become a professional pastry chef in your kitchen! The cake ring Ø 26 x 5 cm is ideal for baking your own sponge cake and making a wide variety of cakes. In contrast to a springform pan, the cake ring distributes the heat better and also enables a beautifully baked base. Only in this way can the sponge cake be baked evenly and rise.

Cake ring Ø 26 cm x 5 cm
The cake ring Ø 26 cm can be used to conjure up elegant cakes and fluffy sponge cakes. Perfect for use in the oven, fridge and freezer. After baking or shaping the cake, the cake ring can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. You can bake a sponge cake in no time at all, stack up your cake and your cake ring is ready for use again with just one wash.
The perfect cake in just a few steps
Place the ring on a baking tray with baking paper that is as level as possible. If there is enough space, you can easily bake several sponge cakes next to each other. Prepare a sponge cake batter and fill the ring. You should not use too much batter, as the sponge cake will rise during baking. Unlike a conventional springform pan, a cake ring does not have a base. This makes it easier for the heat to reach the batter, resulting in an airy and evenly baked sponge cake. The best access to the heat is achieved if you use a perforated baking tray.
Leave the baked sponge cake to cool thoroughly. If you don't want to use it until the next day, cover it with a second tray so that it doesn't lose its moisture. You can then carefully remove the sponge cake from the ring with a knife. Now cut it into slices for a cake. These will be particularly even if you use a cake cutter or a cake saw.
You can now add a cake insert strip to the dishwasher-washed or hand-washed cake ring. After baking the bases and making the fillings, you can start layering. Do not use the final cake plate for this. Instead, use thin cake bases. We recommend using a small cardboard base that is 1-2 cm smaller than your cake. You should also place a slightly larger cake base under the small base. This will make it easier to lift the cake and place it on the final cake plate. Put one of the sponge slices back in or make a delicious crispy base. You can then add your favorite filling on top. Viscous ingredients such as caramel or a cake jelly for fresh fruit can also be used without any problems, as the cake ring prevents the filling from running out.
Place the finished cake with the ring in the fridge or freezer. Once it has set, the cake ring can be easily removed thanks to the insert strip and used for the next cake. Try it out for yourself and see the outstanding quality of this cake ring for yourself!
