Description

Wooden box of chocolates for 16 chocolates

The praline is considered the crowning achievement of the chocolatier's art, as its production is considered particularly elaborate. Anyone who has ever made chocolates themselves knows how many steps are involved in the production of a single praline. The wooden box is very noble and reusable Certainly you have made many delicious chocolates and now you just have to pack them nicely. You should make sure that the chocolates are well cooled. Now you should put on gloves, so that your chocolates are not provided with fingerprints. Now you can place your chocolates and truffles in a chocolate capsule. The neutral wood allows you to use the praline capsules in a variety of colors, with the insert in the box in gold. Now you can put the chocolates with the capsule in the 16 cavities and lay the blister in the lid. The blister prevents the chocolates from moving around in the box. Now you can also tie a bow around the wooden box to give the box a festive look.

On the trail of the first praline

Chocolates are unique art covered with chocolate. Some would even say that only handmade chocolates are the real chocolates. However, it is certain that it is not known exactly where the origin of the praline. Belgians are convinced that the origin of the praline is in Brussels, in the oldest chocolate store in the world. But at that time the praline was not filled with a classic ganache, but with medicine. The Swiss Jean Neuhaus sold his "specialty" in his pharmacy: the liqueur sticks against stomach problems, until his son Frederic Neuhaus had a better idea. In 1857, he coated the medicine with chocolate to improve the taste. Since it was so well received by society, he closed the pharmacy and opened a chocolate store in the same square in the Galerie Royales Saint-Hubert. There the store "Neuhaus" exists until today. However, this theory is not clear. But what all chocolates have in common is the indispensable coating of chocolate, which must be at least 25%.

Noble box made of wood

Wood is a very natural material, which makes it particularly suitable for storing chocolates. The wooden box is well enclosed on all sides. So the surprise in the box after opening is huge. Since there is no viewing window, the chocolate is protected from sunlight. Thanks to the clip closure, the box is airtight and thus the chocolate does not absorb the smell or taste of the surrounding food.
