Black salt, 290 g
Black salt is an exceptionally pure mixture, rich in activated carbon and minerals. With its delicious taste, it gives an extraordinary flavor to various dishes. In addition, activated carbon can help digestion and makes the body feel good.
Hawaiian natural products
Alae and black lava have been revered by Native Hawaiians for centuries for their beneficial properties. The former is a red clay that can also be used in a similar way to black lava.
Natural, handcrafted black Hawaiian salt is a blend of two exceptionally pure products. To enrich it with minerals, black lava rock, freed from impurities, is mixed with pure seawater in evaporation ponds, using a special process that helps preserve all the minerals. Rare and refined, deep black, the resulting salt creates a magnificent impressionistic setting on the plate. The black salt is used as a fleur de sel and gives a baroque character to all dishes.
Application - Black salt
Spring rolls with black salt
6 pieces of rice paper
Black salt
18 peeled shrimp
Arugula
1 avocado
Little lemon juice
3 slices of pineapple
3 leaves of lettuce
Some mint or cilantro leaves for dressing
Remove the pit, peel the avocado, slice it and drizzle some lemon juice over it, pull off some lettuce leaves and cut them in half, cut the pineapple slices into two or more pieces. Then spread a softened rice paper on a board and sprinkle it with black Hawaiian salt. Season the paper with other spices of your choice and top. On each paper, place half a leaf of lettuce, half a slice of pineapple, 2 slices of avocado, a little arugula and three shrimp. Form a roll by folding the side edges inward and then rolling it up from the bottom. Until serving, you can wrap the rolls in a damp cloth so they stay nice and fresh. Then just finely chop some cilantro or mint, sprinkle on top and serve with a suitable dip if desired.
And now just enjoy! Do you already hear the Hawaiian sea noise?
