Tomato powder 100 g
Mix some tomato powder into your flour or durum wheat semolina and use it afterwards for baking bread or making your own pasta, so they get not only a great red color but also the incomparable aroma of fresh tomatoes. With the powder you can also refine sauces and make various smoothies. Tomatoes are very healthy due to the vitamin C and vitamin A content and strengthen the eyesight. So you create not only delicious and colorful, but also super healthy pasta.
Tomato powder - application
Tomato pasta
400 g durum wheat semolina
115 g whole egg
10 - 20 g tomato powder
Mix the semolina with the tomato powder and put it in a pasta machine. Now keep adding a little whole egg and keep mixing. Alternatively, you can knead the dough by hand and then roll it out, but the use of a pasta machine is recommended. Once everything is well mixed, the pasta is pressed into shape with the machine. So only from time to time the pasta must be cut off. The homemade pasta needs only about 3 minutes in boiling salted water until it is firm to the bite and can be enjoyed.
You can also add the powder to your salad dressing or cream sauce to create a delicious and wonderfully creamy tomato sauce. Such a creamy tomato sauce tastes especially delicious if you add some dried wild garlic leaves.
Even a bread can be flavored and easily colored with tomato powder. Here, too, you can combine the powder with the dried wild garlic and create a tomato bread that is both spicy and visually appealing. Fish and meat also get a delicious taste as well as a reddish coloring from a little tomato powder in the marinade.
