Description

Wild garlic powder 100 g

Mix some wild garlic powder into your flour or durum wheat semolina and then use it to bake bread or make your own pasta, giving it not only a great green color but also the incomparable aroma of spicy wild garlic. With the powder you can also refine sauces and make various marinades

Wild garlic powder - application

Wild garlic pasta

400 g durum wheat semolina

115 g whole egg

10 - 20 g wild garlic powder

Mix the semolina with the wild garlic powder and put it in a pasta machine. Now keep adding a little whole egg and keep mixing. Alternatively, you can knead the dough by hand and then roll it out, but the use of a pasta machine is recommended. Once everything is well mixed, the pasta is pressed into shape with the machine. So only from time to time the pasta must be cut off. The homemade pasta needs only about 3 minutes in boiling salted water until it is firm to the bite and can be enjoyed.

You can also add the powder under your salad dressing, in a tomato sauce or a little more in a cream sauce and create a delicious wild garlic sauce. Such a creamed wild garlic sauce tastes especially delicious if you add some dried wild garlic leaves.

A bread can also be flavored and lightly colored with wild garlic powder. Here, too, you can combine the powder with the dried wild garlic to create a bread that is as flavorful as it is visually appealing.

Fish and meat also get a slight garlic flavor from a little wild garlic powder in the marinade, but you won't smell it long after you've eaten it. For this purpose, the powder is simply mixed directly into the marinade and can be distributed much more evenly than would be the case with chopped leaves.
