Barbie cake baking pan - Easy to use

Unlike other baking pans, this Barbie cake needs a little preparation. But even the few steps are done quickly. Place the dome with the opening facing up on the base. The base consists of a solid plate and a connecting part, so that the dome also remains quite secure. Now insert the long pin into the center of the dome. Now spray a little Baking Release Spray to the inside of the dome. This baking release spray prevents the cake from sticking to the baking pan. Now the pan is ready to be used.
To make a stunning barbie cake, you will need the following:
300 g white flour3
tsp baking powder1
pinch of salt4
eggs size L or 5 eggs size M300
g sugar115 g
butter cut into cubes250 g
milk3
tsp. Vanilla flavor paste
3 tsp coconut oil

Take a bowl and mix the flour, baking powder and salt together well. Beat the eggs with a Hand mixer or a Dough machine until you get a creamy, fluffy consistency. While whipping, you can slowly add the sugar to the eggs. Continue to beat this mixture for 5-10 minutes at the highest speed. This mass should now have three times the volume and be almost white. Meanwhile, take the butter and milk and put them in a cup or microwave-safe bowl. Melt the two components for 2 minutes at 600 watts. The milk must not boil! Now set the hand mixer or dough machine to the lowest setting and add the flour in 3 parts.
A rule of thumb to determine if you can add the next portion of flour is: only add more when you can no longer see the flour. When you have added all the flour, turn off the machine. If you continue to beat strongly, the dough will lose its volume. This means that your cake will not be fluffy after baking. Now add the vanilla flavor paste and the coconut oil to the milk mixture. Mix everything well together. Now take 5-10 tablespoons of the egg batter and add it to the liquid ingredients. Turn the hand mixer or dough machine back to low and slowly add the liquid ingredients to the dough. Mix all ingredients as short as possible or as long as necessary.
Now pour the batter into the pan and bake the cake at 180 degrees top/bottom heat for 30 minutes. With the stick test you can determine whether the dough is baked. Take a long, smooth wooden skewer and insert it deep into the cake. When you pull it out, no dough residue should stick. If this is the case, put the cake back into the oven for another 5 minutes.
After the cake is baked, let the dough cool in the baking pan for 10 minutes. Then you can turn out the cake. Put on oven gloves and turn the dome over very quickly. Now the dome is standing with the opening on the countertop. Lift the baking pan slowly so that the cake can slide out. Allow the cake to cool completely before proceeding.
During this time, you can make the brunette Barbie a top out of fondant or marzipan. Now it's up to your creativity. It's best to choose the color that the dress will have later. We recommend to work with buttercream or Swiss Meringue for the decoration, because you can color these creams with our Progel food colors just like fondant or marzipan. This way your Barbie gets a magical dress. With a spatula you can easily spread the buttercream on the dress and even create patterns. It is important that you finish the upper part of the Barbie's body and the dome separately first. After finishing, put the dome in the fridge for 30 minutes so that the cake becomes a little firmer. At the very end you can put the doll on the dome.
