Tips for a superhero cake

• Spider web: pipe circles of black icing onto red fondant or buttercream and drag a cocktail stick from the centre outwards – and the web is done.
• Combine topper and figure: a flat topper on top and the figure beside it together look like a scene from the film.
• Masks for everyone: with the paper masks the guests become heroes themselves – perfect for party photos.
