Prepare all the necessary ingredients and chop the couverture into coarse pieces. Beat the butter with the icing sugar until creamy and gradually add the whole egg.

Then add the salt, the white flour and the chopped couverture and mix everything together until you get a firm cookie dough. At this point, you can also mix in flavours, gel colours or ingredients such as cocoa nibs or freeze-dried fruit. This way you can flavour your cookie cups individually and adjust them to your personal taste. Coloured cookie cups are also real eye-catchers.

Form six equal-sized balls and then press them into the mould for the cookie cups. You don't need to grease the baking tray.

Now press the matching counterpart into the mould until the dough comes up at the edge. The excess cookie dough that comes over the edge can simply be cut away with a small dough scraper. Bake the delicious cookies for 10 to 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 °C convection.

Then simply remove from the tin and leave to cool. Now you can fill them with ice cream, sorbet or other treats!

Storage & Shelf Life

The finished cookie cups can be stored in an airtight container in a dry place for up to two weeks. So you can also make them in advance.
