Cocoa beans from Colombia
The Hacienda Betulia farm is located east of the city of Medellin. The Federacion nacional de cacaoteros awarded the Swiss-Colombian family business as the most innovative farm in Colombia 2018. As a family business, there are years of tinkering behind the company's story. This has allowed them to create a great vision. The company's philisophy is to realize a Colombian Criollo with rare and complex flavors. As the most innovative farm in Colombia, sustainability and a great know-how are part of the daily routine. To achieve this title, the family business carries out scientific soil analysis and genetic testing of the cacao varieties. Sustainability is expressed in the agricultural practices and extends to the fermentation concept.
These cocoa beans belong to the Criollo category. These beans are among the finest of their variety and taste particularly aromatic.
