How to use the pretty cookie cutter

The ideal dough for the cookie cutters
The cookie cutters are suitable for various types of dough. A simple butter cookie dough is not only delicious, but also quickly conjured up.
You need:
300 g Flour
150 g powdered sugar
8 g Vanilla sugar
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
zest of one untreated lemon
150 g butter

Here's how:
Simply mix all the ingredients and knead into a firm dough. You can also use a kneading machine for this.
Now you can roll out the dough thinly and cut it out with the hearts. Make sure that your work surface, your hands, the rolling pin and the cookie cutters are covered with flour or with Baker's starch are dusted. This will prevent your dough from tearing during processing. A thin rolled out dough will be crispy after baking. If you want your cookies to be softer, you can also leave the dough 0.5 cm thick. We recommend that you leave the dough 0.5 cm thick, because the cookie cutters leave an imprint in the cookie dough. This makes the cookies look even more beautiful after baking. Now stamp the cookies and press the embossing button once or twice. Now you have the cookie cutter on and by pressing the button again, the cookie pops right out of the cutter.

Now place the cookies on a baking sheet with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius until golden brown.

A little tip: When to use cold butter and when to use room tempered or warm butter?
Quite simply, cold butter is ideal for kneaded doughs like most cookie doughs. The cold butter holds the dough together and gives the dough stability. Therefore, use cold butter for your cookies and cookies. This makes it easier to lift the cut out shapes onto the baking sheet. If you notice that your dough is getting stickier and warmer, put the dough in the refrigerator for a few minutes.
Warm butter is used for smooth doughs. Usually butter is beaten with eggs and sugar until smooth to prevent lumps. This is mostly the case in cake recipes.

If you now want to decorate your cookies with Royal Icing If you want to decorate your cake, use the royal icing mix. Prepare the mix as described on the packaging. So that the icing does not remain only white, you can use the ProGel Colors to color the icing. Divide the icing into as many different bowls as colors you want. A dab of the ProGel colors is enough to achieve an intense color. You can now brush the royal icing with a brush or a Cornet onto the cooled Guetzli. Now you can add various sprinkles to the cookie. The cookie should now be placed in a dry place for a while to dry. This is probably the most difficult step for all sweet tooths!

Simple cookie cutter with many applications

Baking cookies is a great family activity for a weekend. There's nothing better than snacking on the raw dough and decorating the cutters after baking. Decorating the cookies with colored royal icing, icing or tempered chocolate is especially fun. You can also use the cookie cutters for cake decorating. Fondant or marzipan figures set the right highlights for a summery cake. To do this, roll out the fondant or marzipan with a rolling pin and baker's starch and cut out the sweet motifs.

Are the cookie cutters also easy to handle in the cleaning? - Of course!

The plastic cookie cutters can simply be placed in the dishwasher after use. The cookie cutters are ready for the next use in no time.
