Christmas table decorations do not need to be elaborate, just well chosen: matching napkins, a garland and one or two eye-catchers in the middle. Here you will find everything to lay a festive table for Christmas dinner, a family brunch or the office party.

Tips for a well-matched table

Choose one design or colour and carry it through: snowman napkins with the snowman garland, or the gold garland with honeycomb balls and paper trees. Keep the centrepiece low so everyone can see each other and chat across the table. Set up the garland and centrepiece the day before, then put out napkins and cards on the day. That leaves plenty of time for the menu and dessert.
