Cooking accessories for the savoury kitchen: here you will find around 90 items for gratins, pâtés, wähen, bread and the spice rack. Unlike Apéro and Pasta, this category covers everyday tins and kitchen helpers, plus spices, salts and powders that give a dish more character.

Which tins and kitchen helpers do we stock?

  • Casserole and baking dishes: rectangular (28.5 x 23 cm), oval (36 x 25 cm) and large (41 x 26.5 cm) for gratins, bakes and lasagne.
  • Wähen baking trays in Ø 20, 22, 24, 26 and 28 cm, plus perforated pizza trays (Ø 28 cm).
  • Pâté and terrine moulds in half-round, trapezium and triangle shapes, with a matching lid.
  • Cast iron: bread pot sets (Ø 26 cm round or 28 cm rectangular), mini casseroles and serving pans Ø 10 cm.
  • Kitchen helpers: sauce spoons, skimmers, wooden ladle sets, pizza cutters, egg slicers, a marinade syringe and flambé torches.
  • For young cooks: wooden spoons, spatulas, silicone brushes and a rolling pin in a Paw Patrol design.

Spices, salts and powders

In the spice section we have blends such as ras el hanout, mango curry and four-spice, as well as nutmeg and mace, tonka beans, ground ginger and bread spice. Special salts (black salt, fine red salt) and black garlic add accents to the plate. Tomato, spinach, wild garlic or porcini powder lets you season doughs, sauces and fillings.

Tips from our bakery

Cast iron takes a little patience: let the pot get properly hot before baking, which is the key to a good crust. After use, dry it straight away so it does not rust. Fill pâté and terrine moulds to just below the rim and stand them on a tray. A large baking dish is worth it when you cook for several people; for single portions, mini casseroles are handier.

Frequently asked questions

Which dish should I use for a gratin?

For a family gratin the large dish (41 x 26.5 cm) or the oval one (36 x 25 cm) works well. For two or three people the rectangular dish at 28.5 x 23 cm is enough.

How much spice do I need?

Start with a little and taste as you go: nutmeg, ras el hanout and spice blends are strong. Pack sizes of 40 to 60 g are enough for many dishes.

Do you also offer cooking courses?

Yes, cooking courses take place in our bakery in Adliswil. A recipe to try at home: porcini spätzle with wild garlic cheese pesto.
