“It always smells lovely when someone’s baking – but the finest scent of all is that of Christmas biscuits. Outside, everything’s like ice and the fog turns everything white, yet from the kitchen it now smells just like paradise.”
Put on your apron and let’s head off to the bakery together! We’ll knead the dough, roll it out, cut out the shapes, bake them and, of course, taste them.
At this event, we’ll be making a total of four different types of biscuits. There’ll be cinnamon stars, Brunsli, Spitzbuben and, of course, the classic Mailänderli. Please note that this event focuses not on making the dough from scratch, but on shaping and finishing the biscuits. Due to time constraints, it isn’t possible to make the dough on the day of the workshop, so we’ll prepare it for you the day before.
At the end of the biscuit-making event, everyone will go home with a well-filled biscuit tin (approx. 80–100 biscuits). In addition, each participant will receive a detailed recipe booklet containing all the biscuit recipes and instructions for making them at home.

Do you have any questions or is anything unclear?
Here you will find an overview of the most frequently asked questions. If you have not found a suitable answer to your query, please feel free to contact us by telephone on 044 480 14 14 or by email at events@minischoggi.ch.
After the event, the organiser will receive an invoice by email for the number of people booked, which must be settled within 14 days. Of course, we can also send the payment slip by post on request.
The reason we send an invoice is that we do not have cash registers on site to process payments. In rare cases, we may require payment in advance or by card because the invoice z.B. is addressed to someone with a foreign billing address. MiniSchoggi reserves the right to do so at any time. Thank you for your understanding.
Unfortunately, the parking situation in the cities of Zurich and Bern is somewhat difficult, and we cannot guarantee parking spaces there; we can only direct you to car parks in the immediate vicinity. Thank you for your understanding.
In Zurich-Adliswil, there are dozens of parking spaces along the River Sihl, which are even free at the weekend. You’ll always find a free space there. If, contrary to expectations, this isn’t the case, please pop into the restaurant and we’ll show you where you can find additional parking spaces.
With every aperitif package booked, we also provide orange juice or mineral water alongside the Prosecco for those who do not wish to, or are not allowed to, drink alcohol.
The events usually take place around a large table, so participants remain seated. This makes our event ideas very suitable for people of all ages. At the chocolate bar events, however, participants regularly get up, mix the ingredients themselves and collect the chocolate from the chocolate station on their own. This means that participants regularly have to stand up and sit down, as well as walk short distances around the room. However, if this only affects one person, it is no reason not to organise the event, as our course leaders – and no doubt the other participants too – will be more than happy to help.
At the cupcake event, we deliberately avoid using toppings that wouldn’t withstand a long evening or warm temperatures. Decorations made from fondant, flower paste or royal icing hold up well even in warmer temperatures, so it’s absolutely no problem.
Chocolate withstands temperatures of up to 25 °C without direct sunlight. However, if you’re storing them in warm places, such as in a car or similar, it’s advisable to take a cool box or similar with you in the car to ensure nothing goes wrong.
If temperatures are higher, we’ll provide you with a cool bag for your chocolate creations instead of a standard carrier bag. This will keep the chocolate cool for several hours under normal conditions. However, if the chocolate is left in the sun for longer or temperatures are very high, you can always place a cold drink in the cool bag to ensure the chocolate remains protected. In extremely hot weather (above 30 °C), we’ll provide cooling pads to ensure the chocolate definitely doesn’t suffer.
At the cupcake event, you’ll be given a special box for transport, so that the cupcakes are well protected.
At the Cookies event, the cookies are packed into attractive bags and then placed in a box, ensuring they are well prepared for transport.
If you’re decorating high heels at the event, you’ll be given a box made especially for this purpose, into which the moulded chocolate slab fits perfectly. You’ll attach your high heel to this chocolate slab using a little chocolate, so that the shoe is securely held in place. This ensures the shoe is protected as well as possible for onward transport.
For the praline team event and the chocolate bar event, you’ll receive a box for the pralines to ensure they’re well protected, whilst the truffles are placed in a bag. The chocolate bars are also packed in clear bags.
At the end of each event, you’ll be given a carrier bag for transport, which can also be labelled with your name to avoid any mix-ups.
If you are going to be out and about for a while afterwards, you can store your creations in a locker at the station, in a car (if available), or, if you prefer, we can store the creations you’ve made here for a few days and you can then collect them from us later.
The cupcakes will keep for 1 week, although you can also freeze them with their decorations on. This extends their shelf life to 3 months.
The biscuits have a shelf life of 8 weeks and can simply be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
Chocolates and truffles will keep for 4 weeks at room temperature, away from light, whilst the chocolate bars and chocolate high heels will keep for at least 6 months.
You’ll therefore certainly have plenty of time to enjoy your creations or give them as gifts to your loved ones.
We ask that you arrive on time for your event so that the schedule can run smoothly. If you arrive late, the course organisers will be forced to shorten the event accordingly. Depending on the day, the event room may be needed again either before or after your event. We are therefore reliant on the time needed for set-up and cleaning. Alternatively, the course organisers may have other appointments or may have finished work for the day; we would therefore be grateful if you could arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the event and leave the room afterwards, so that the course organisers can begin cleaning.
A cosy atmosphere is very important to us. Therefore, it is absolutely no problem and does not incur any additional costs if an event runs a little longer; however, for the reasons mentioned, we cannot make our rooms available for games or similar activities afterwards.
We would like to thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding.
Please notify us of any changes as soon as possible, preferably by email or, in the case of events, by telephone within 24 hours on 044 480 14 14.
Reductions in the number of guests: Our entire preparation process begins one week before the event, and the event venues are usually set up several days in advance, so that on the day of the event, only the fresh ingredients and fillings need to be prepared. Therefore, should there be a last-minute reduction in the number of guests, we are unfortunately unable to take this into account in the final bill. However, we recommend that the group still prepare the dishes for the person who is unable to attend – usually for health reasons – so that they can still enjoy a taste of the event at home.
Should the number of participants fall below 6 for two-hour events or below 10 for one-hour events, please still prepare the quantities for 6 or 10 people, as we are required to charge for at least this number of participants.
Increases in the number of participants: Inthe vast majority of cases, we can accommodate a last-minute increase in the number of participants without any problem. In isolated cases, however, this may not be possible if z.B. a significantly larger number of people turn up or the products are no longer in stock.
Further details regarding the processing and invoicing, as well as the exact procedure for events that have already been confirmed, complete cancellations or postponements, can be found in the Terms and Conditions, which will be sent to you when you request a quote.
