Autumn & woodland cookie cutters

Our autumn cookie cutters bring the forest to your baking tray: owls, foxes, hedgehogs, squirrels and fawns, plus maple and oak leaves and an apple. Which autumn cookie cutters do we stock?

• Owls: the owls Alva, Frido, Hugo and Petie, the owl couple Kunti & Krümel, the mummy and baby owl set and plain owls in 7.5 and 9 cm.
• Foxes: Fero and Fiete, the sitting fox in two versions and the Decora fox.
• Hedgehog, squirrel and deer: the hedgehog, a large squirrel and an 8 cm squirrel, a small and a large fawn and the 2-piece woodland set.
• Autumn leaves: single maple and oak leaves, autumn leaves in 3-piece and 6-piece sets and a 7-piece leaf set. The apple cutter rounds off the range.

Plunger cutters for fine details

The owl, fox, hedgehog, squirrel and deer are also available as plunger cookie cutters. The built-in plunger pushes the dough out of the cutter, so ears, tails and spines stay intact. Depending on the model, it presses a pattern into the dough at the same time.

Tips from our kitchen

• Cold dough, sharp edges: chill the shortcrust well, roll it out between two sheets of baking paper and put the cut-out biscuits back in the fridge briefly before baking.
• Flour the cutter: dip it in flour before each cut and even a bushy fox tail comes away cleanly.
• Bake similar sizes together: small owls and large fawns need different baking times, so put them on separate trays.
