With Christmas silicone embossers you can press fine designs such as an angel, St Nicholas or a snowflake into fondant, marzipan and biscuit dough – no piping bag and no steady hand needed. Simply press, lift, and the relief is there. In this category you will find 14 silicone embossers with Christmas and winter designs.
Which silicone embossers do we offer?
- St Nicholas, Father Christmas and angel: the classic figures for the Advent plate and for St Nicholas Day cakes.
- Reindeer and stags: reindeer, Rudolph the reindeer, reindeer head and stag head.
- Snowmen and penguins: snowman, snowman face, dancing snowman and penguin mother & baby.
- Winter and forest: snowflake, snow star and fir trees.
Matching cookie cutters for these designs are in Santa, elf & angel and Reindeer, snowman & winter animals. If you prefer cutter and embosser in one piece, have a look at our cookie cutters with silicone embosser.
Embossing neatly – tips from our bakery
Roll out fondant or marzipan evenly and dust the embosser or the paste very lightly with icing sugar or starch so nothing sticks. Press down evenly without sliding the embosser, then lift it straight up. Cut out the design or use the whole sheet as decoration on a cake, cupcake or biscuit. You will find fondant and marzipan in our fondant, marzipan & flower paste category.
Biscuit dough should be well chilled. Emboss the design, cut out the biscuit with a matching cutter and chill it again before baking – the relief holds better in the oven. Doughs with little raising agent show the pattern most clearly. For traditional Springerle and Tirggel with a deep imprint, use our Springerle and Tirggel moulds instead.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an embosser and a cookie cutter?
A cutter cuts out the shape; an embosser only presses the pattern into the surface. For a finished design, combine both: emboss first, then cut out.
How do I clean the embossers?
Ideally straight after use with warm water and a soft brush, so no residue dries in the fine lines. Let them dry thoroughly before putting them away.
Where can I find more Christmas shapes?
All designs from stars to gingerbread men are in our Christmas cookie cutters.
