Ideas for online team and group events
Are you looking for an unforgettable team-building event for your team? Has the event been unable to take place in its usual form due to COVID-19 or travel restrictions? Or do you value the flexibility of online events?
Then we have just the thing for you. MiniSchoggi offers a range of online team and group events centred around chocolate, baking and decorating. Whether you’d prefer top-quality Swiss chocolate or something from the world of baking – we can make it happen.
For all online events, we send out boxes a few days before the event containing all the ingredients and equipment needed to make the relevant dishes at home. Depending on the event, participants simply need to buy standard fresh ingredients, such as cream or butter, as shown z.B.. Standard kitchen equipment is also perfectly adequate for the events, as any specialist equipment is sent directly by us along with the box.
The online events are suitable for everyone, whether they’re new to baking or already experienced, regardless of age or gender; the events are met with equal enthusiasm – making them the perfect choice for absolutely any team.
Here is an overview of our team event packages
We have been organising corporate and private events throughout Switzerland since 2014 and have been one of the leading providers of chocolate and baking events ever since. Since the end of October 2020, we have also been offering online events.
Here is a brief overview of our various pre-designed events for team-building occasions or private groups. We’d also be happy to put together a bespoke event for you – simply get in touch if you’d like to create something based on a specific theme or product for a group event.
Chocolates & Truffles
Create your own truffles and pralines as a team! With sweet, fresh fillings – vanilla, milk chocolate with champagne, hazelnut or dark chocolate – as well as countless decoration options, we’ll ensure you have a sweet time and lots of fun at your online event!
We’ll show you step by step how to make the pralines and truffles. After each short demonstration, it’s the participants’ turn to have a go at home, so they can put what they’ve learnt into practice straight away – guaranteeing perfect results. We’ll of course be on hand to help if you have any questions.
First, the fillings are prepared, then the pralines and truffles are filled and sealed, before being elegantly decorated and packaged.
Each person receives a kit to make around 55 pralines and can then create and decorate them beautifully themselves.
An event that’s always a huge hit – and with chocolates as a sweet gift for friends, family and acquaintances, it’s also a very informative event that provides plenty of knowledge for making your own fresh chocolates as a unique gift in the future.

Together, you’ll roll out the dough, prepare it for cutting out or further processing, and then turn it into delicious creations.
A short online event that’s ideal for a sweet break together during a packed day and is guaranteed to give you a boost of energy!
Immerse yourselves in the wonderful run-up to Christmas together with your colleagues.

Some highlights from the online events
Since the end of October, we have had a professionally equipped show kitchen with live cameras (up to 4K), lighting, audio stations and various mixing consoles, as well as a dedicated fibre-optic connection with the capacity for high-performance streaming. We are continually expanding this to offer you the highest quality.

Do you have any questions or is anything unclear?
Here you will find an overview of the most frequently asked questions. If you have not found a suitable answer to your query, please feel free to contact us by telephone on 044 480 14 14 or by email at events@minischoggi.ch.
To dispatch the boxes, we require your full name and address. If you wish, the box can of course also be sent to your business address or any other address of your choice. You can also collect it from our premises in Adliswil. We do not require a telephone number or email address for dispatch. As we handle the dispatch entirely ourselves, no other organisation has access to the data, apart from Swiss Post, our delivery provider.
If you wish, you can of course use your own courier service, and we will send the boxes directly to them for final delivery.
If you invite us to participate in the live conference, no email addresses are required. However, if we were to organise the invitations to participants via email and during the event itself, we would absolutely need this information.
We guarantee that the data will be used exclusively for the dispatch of the boxes and the event. Naturally, this data will neither be passed on nor used for marketing purposes or similar.
We are committed to absolute discretion, and should you require a confidentiality agreement or similar from us due to internal policies or regulations, this can of course be arranged at any time.
We use a wide variety of conference and meeting software, so we’d be more than happy to accommodate your preferences.
If you don’t have any specific preferences, we will of course make suitable suggestions so that you can decide. We want to make the organisation as straightforward as possible for you, so please feel free to let us know which software you are currently using, and we will then try to use that very software for the online event, if possible.
We should receive the address details at least one week before the event.
Should there be a significant change in the number of people registered, we would be grateful if you could let us know as soon as possible so that we can act and plan accordingly. Thank you very much for your help.
We should receive the address details in a table format, ideally in Excel or a similar programme, so that the dispatch labels can be generated. Ideally, the file should be organised into the following columns: title, first name, surname, additional details (C/O, PO Box etc., if necessary), street including house number, postcode and town
We’d be more than happy to assist you should any questions arise.
After the event, the organiser will receive an invoice by email for the number of people booked, which must be settled within 14 days. Of course, we can also send the payment slip by post on request.
The reason we send an invoice is that we do not have cash registers on site to process payments. In rare cases, we may require payment in advance or by card because the invoice z.B. is addressed to someone with a foreign billing address. MiniSchoggi reserves the right to do so at any time. Thank you for your understanding.
We distinguish between the basic costs and the costs for the boxes. The basic costs are a one-off charge and are entirely independent of the number of participants. The basic costs cover the set-up for the event, the course leaders’ preparatory work and the time spent during the event.
An additional person is on site during the event to operate the equipment, cameras and sound system. These costs are therefore also included.
To give an example, for an event lasting two hours, there are around two additional hours’ work involved in preparing the ingredients and the kitchen, etc., as well as one hour for tidying up the kitchen, including the equipment. The technical operator carries out a thorough test before every event, makes fine adjustments and is present throughout the entire event, managing the chat with questions, controlling the cameras and ensuring the stream runs smoothly. This means that a two-hour event already requires around eight hours’ work.
In addition, there are costs for all the materials and ingredients, as we really want to demonstrate the steps exactly as they are, so these costs for materials and ingredients are also factored into the base costs.
The second cost component is the boxes, the cost of which depends on the final number of boxes dispatched. Each box contains a wide range of ingredients, decorations, consumables and tools/equipment. These vary depending on the type of event; for the chocolate tasting, for example, this is the chocolate, whilst for the workshops, they include all the necessary products. This price also includes postage and packaging costs within Switzerland.
The cupcakes will keep for 1 week, although you can also freeze them with their decorations on. This extends their shelf life to 3 months.
The biscuits have a shelf life of 8 weeks and can simply be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
Chocolates and truffles will keep for 4 weeks at room temperature, away from light, whilst the chocolate bars and chocolate high heels will keep for at least 6 months.
You’ll therefore certainly have plenty of time to enjoy your creations or give them as gifts to your loved ones.
We charge a basic fee for organising the event, and these costs are independent of the number of participants. These costs therefore remain the same regardless of whether fewer or more people take part.
If we have already dispatched the box, we must charge the full amount. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns of boxes that have already been dispatched, partly because of the food items contained within them. However, we are confident that the recipient will be able to make good use of the box, regardless of the event, with the help of the enclosed instructions.
Thank you for your understanding.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to record the event or make further use of the recording. If you absolutely need a recording – for example, because of significant time differences between participants or similar circumstances – we would be happy to discuss the details with you so that we can find a suitable solution for those involved. For fully bespoke events, recording and the exclusive use of the recording by those registered for the event may be possible under certain circumstances; please contact us regarding this. Thank you for your understanding.
We currently only deliver within Switzerland. If you are based abroad, please get in touch with us so that we can assess your situation on a case-by-case basis.
If you have a larger number of people abroad, we’d be happy to organise an export shipment, but we’ll simply need a significantly longer lead time.
Depending on the type of event, the ingredients and materials used vary, which can lead to restrictions on transport. For example, whilst it is possible to ship chocolate to tropical countries, it is extremely expensive, so we would generally advise against it. There may also be import restrictions in the destination country, meaning we are not permitted to export food products. Please do get in touch with us regarding these matters so that we can advise you as best we can.
