Rinse the mold with warm water, dry it thoroughly and polish it with a dry cloth. These steps are necessary so that the Easter eggs have a glossy finish afterwards.
Once the Chocolate mold is polished, you can draw small details into it. To do this, use either tempered couverture that creates a contrast to the couverture, or paint fine details with Cocoa butter color. Another option is to use a toothbrush to flick fine colour speckles onto the mold before it is filled.
To obtain complete spheres, you can glue two Hemispheres together at the edge using a thin layer of couverture.
