Description

Flower cutter set, 75 pieces - use and properties

Flowers in all shapes and sizes, noble petals in different colors arranged into a bouquet, a carpet of roses, orchids and carnations. Such decorations are no problem with the 75 petal cutters included in this set. The different sizes allow you to make large and small flowers of different types.

Cookie cutter - Application

Choose a mass from which you want to cut out the flowers afterwards. You can use marzipan or flower paste, fondant and Massa Ticino are also suitable. Depending on the mass, use a different base. For the sugar masses, a little baker's starch will keep them from sticking to the work surface. Also a good choice is a silicone mat.

Now roll out the mass thinly. It should not be too thick, otherwise the flowers will look too coarse, but if they are too thin, they may crack later. If you are satisfied with the thickness, you can cut out the desired shapes with light pressure. You can now work on the cut-out shape with a modeling tool. Nice thin leaf edges and a slight curvature of each leaf should be the result. Now shape the leaves into flowers. For a calla, a single, tapered leaf will do. Form a pistil and roll the leaf around it. You can also form a cone and place petals around it. The leaves first point inward and then slope outward more and more. In this way, a noble rose is created. Depending on this, it may be a good idea to use an edible food glue. Let nature inspire you. Look for beautiful flowers on a walk, in the garden or even on the Internet and try to imitate them!

The individual flowers can also be further decorated. With an airbrush, noble color gradients are created. With powder colors, you can, for example, color the outermost edge a little darker. This makes the flower look more real. With a dot of royal icing on the edge of a petal, you can attach a butterfly made of the same mass, edible paper or sugar.

The possibilities are endless, with these simple cutters you will succeed many different pretty and noble decorations. Enjoy the simplicity and decorate your creation with sweet roses!
