Place desired amount of the soft fondant in a small pan. While stirring constantly, heat the fondant. If the fondant becomes too firm, you can add a little sugar syrup to taste. The fondant can be colored with paste or liquid color. The ideal processing temperature for the soft fondant is about 35 °C. The hotter you make the fondant, the faster it will set afterwards. Decorations should be applied immediately after glazing, while the glaze is still soft.
