Alternatively, the couverture can also be melted in the microwave. Short intervals with stirring in between are recommended. At 65 °C you get a uniform texture, at 60 °C the chocolate remains pleasantly liquid. Fresh fruit such as apples, bananas or strawberries are suitable for dipping. Exotic varieties such as kiwi, pineapple, mango or physalis are also fine. Nuts, small cookie cubes, marshmallows or crunchy cookies provide variety. So everyone can find their favorite combination and the fondue becomes an enjoyable experience.
