Accurate kitchen scales are the most important tool in baking – more important than any recipe. When you weigh flour, sugar and butter instead of guessing with cups, you get the same result every time. Here you will find digital kitchen scales for everyday use, a large scale for doughs up to 15 kg and a precision scale for the small ingredients that matter most.

Which kitchen scales do we offer?

  • For everyday baking: the digital kitchen scale 2 kg and the digital kitchen scale 5 kg – enough for cakes, biscuits and Zopf.
  • With bowl: the digital 5 kg kitchen scale with bowl, handy for liquids and loose ingredients.
  • For large batches: the professional digital kitchen scale up to 15 kg, for when you make several loaves at once.
  • Precision scale: the digital precision scale 100 g for small quantities.

Why a precision scale?

With yeast, salt and baking malt, just a few grams make a big difference. On a scale built for several kilos, such small amounts are easily lost. The 100 g precision scale reliably shows even tiny portions – ideal for dried yeast from our sourdough and yeast range or for products from baking malt and baking aids.

Tips from our bakery

Use the tare button: place the bowl on the scale, reset it to zero and weigh each ingredient straight in. It saves on washing up, too.

Weigh your water: in our bakery we weigh liquids as well. For water, 1 gram is almost exactly 1 millilitre – often more accurate than a measuring jug.

Frequently asked questions

Which kitchen scale do I need for bread baking?

For normal-sized loaves, a scale up to 5 kg is enough. If you knead large batches, choose the scale up to 15 kg and add the precision scale for yeast and salt.

Why not simply measure with spoons?

A spoonful of flour or salt weighs more or less depending on the grind and how full it is. With scales, your recipe stays repeatable. You will find more tools among our baking aids.
