Sugar paste, colloquially called Fondant, decorating fondant, icing or Modeling paste, is a soft sugar dough used to decorate and embellish baked goods such as cakes, cupcakes and Cake pops. Sugar paste can easily be used as a covering for cakes, Fondant cakes, Cake pops or as a topping for cupcakes.

Working with sugar paste
