For the best preserving results: With these accessories, you can seal your WECK round rim preserving jars airtight and reliably, suitable for article numbers 007386, 007420 and 007445 from our range. For optimum shelf life, please store in a dry, dust-free place, protected from UV light and away from heat sources. Do not store below 0 °C, as 15 to 25 °C is ideal. The rubber rings are hygienic, practical and designed for single use.
WECK preserving rings - Application
Boil the rings in boiling water with a dash of vinegar for approx. 5 minutes before use. This removes any residue and activates the elasticity of the rings, ensuring a secure, airtight seal. Then allow to cool briefly, drain and place on the rim of the jar while still slightly moist. When preserving, the ring, together with the lid and clamps, which are available separately from us, ensures the characteristic vacuum that reliably preserves your supplies.
