For the best preserving results: With these accessories, you can seal your WECK round rim preserving jars airtight and reliably, suitable for article numbers 007443 and 007467 from our range. The preserving rings can be used for different jar shapes with the same round rim size. They offer a perfect fit and guarantee a secure seal. The rings are hygienic, practical and designed for single use. The practical set of 10 therefore offers the ideal quantity for your preserving projects. For optimum shelf life, please store the rubber rings in a dry place and away from heat sources. Make sure that the rings are not stored below 0 °C - temperatures between 15 and 25 °C are ideal.
WECK preserving rings - Application
Boil the rings in boiling water with a dash of vinegar for approx. 5 minutes before use. This removes any residue and activates the elasticity of the rings, ensuring a secure, airtight seal. Then allow to cool briefly, drain and place on the rim of the jar while still slightly moist. When preserving, the ring, together with the lid and clamps, which are available separately from us, ensures the characteristic vacuum that reliably preserves your supplies.
